Kelsey Darmochwal, LMHC, NCC

Every person has different strengths, We can work together to help you, your child, or your family find these strengths.

It has been my passion for over 12 years to help gifted/ special needs individuals and their families learn to connect and communicate their needs.

I want to teach you the tools you need to help you learn to shine. My goal to provide you with skills and resources so you know what to do when life feels like a struggle. I work together with you or your child to develop healthy coping skills. All behavior is communication, and I want to help everyone be able to meet in the middle with their environment and team.  I also look at your patterns of communication and behaviors to help you find healthy ways to feel more comfortable and meet your goals.

I use a personalized selection of Neurodivergent Affirming DBT,  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Biofeedback, Neurodivergent Affirming EMDR, Client Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Existential Therapy, Mindfulness, Meditation, and Play Therapy Techniques to address your individual needs.

My training includes master's degrees in both Mental Health Counseling and Rehabilitational Counseling. I also have a Bachelors in Psychology,

a Minor in Interpersonal Relations, and 4+ years experience in Special Education and Teaching. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana and a Nationally Certified Counselor.
